Richmond Industries, Inc. began as a small tooling and tooling
components business nearly 60 years ago.
Since those early years, under the leadership of the Allmenger family, the company expanded into the metal stamping area. In the late 1960's the operation was moved to Willoughby, Ohio and began acquiring metal stamping presses.
In 1992, Richmond Industries found it necessary to expand and acquired an additional 40,000 square foot facility in Willoughby, Ohio, located within minutes of its original building. Today the larger building houses the combined stamping operations, while the original building accommodates the ever-expanding tooling operation. In addition to building tools for Richmond, the Tooling Division makes product for the general market and are proud members of the Precision Metalforming Association.
Today, Richmond Industries is a world leader in the metal stamping business, with a strong base built on state-of-the-art equipment, a network of excellent sales representatives, sophisticated quality control programs, and dedicated personnel.
